Could you please make some of the dialogs used by the IDE stretchable so it is possible to read the full text of symbolic IDs and strings? Two examples are attached.

It sounds like a good idea.

I can increase the size of the mentioned fields immediately, but making the dialogs stretchable will probably have to wait a little.

We practically never use the those dialogs ourselves (but that is of course a bad excuse for not making them better).

BTW, the Menu Editor is already strechy but the Constant, Item and Help controls are not anchored to the right side of the dialog.
