deploying VIP based solutions

How can I tell which vip dlls should be deployed along with a certain application? Should I remove all VIP dlls from the Exe directory en recompile?
Would that give the minimal set of dlls?
Originally I was hoping the solution manager would do such things for me.

All the DLL's in the exe directory will need to be deployed.

Cleaning up the project and the directories may remove DLLs that are not really needed any more.

I will write a little wiki article about cleaning up a project.
