To work with SQL you will use the ODBC package. There are many sources on the Internet providing information about SQL and ODBC in general. But there are no in dept documentation on how to use the ODBC package in Visual Prolog.
You should look at the two ODBC examples (IDE: Help -> Install Examples...).
Notice that ODBC is only available in the Commercial Edition.
