I have used the function : smapi::sendMailMessage
you can give a text and mail adress and it will start Outlook,
But by default Outlook will send a Winmail.dat for you as an attachment in the mail.
I have found information that says that this is because Outlook expects RTF by default,
and if it does not find that it will distort the entire message without warnings
if anyone knows a solution for this or how it works , the info would be very welcome
