What does "The personal Edition contains a reduced library" mean?

Hi

My Name is Markus and I am studying Informatics in Austria at the University of Graz.
I just downloaded the personal edition because this software is used in our Prolog Logic Programming Course.
I think I am not going to develop commercial projects, but it might be interesting for me what it means that the library is reduced. What limitations do you mean, what's exactly the difference?
Probably I will use Prolog for my diploma thesis too, so is it really worth for me with no regular income to pay 300 Euros if I don't want to develop commercial things?
Is there an Academic Version with no library limitations but also not for commercial use?

There are only two editions.

The differences can be found here Visual Prolog Editions Comparison.

The price is now €100.
