Hi: some basic Windows knowledge needed:

I need a multi-choice listBox. As far as I can see in the properties-list, there's no way it can be intiially hidden as a box, and then dropped down to a desired length? In case not, it will take quite some room in a form or dialog.

I mean: "...initially hidden as a (elongated) button?" (Then dropped down...etc

That is correct. Drop-down and multi-select is not a possible combination.
