image not accepted as a personal class name in 7.4

Hi, I wanted to upgrade a 7.3 dll project. With the automatic update method, I got the following errors : e2528 Error 2528: 'Obj\gdiplus.AF8FF855.obj' - symbol '?@create_object@image@@SGQAV1@@XZ' redefinition (see 'Obj\Image.6B91F729.obj') gdiplus.AF8FF855.obj e2528 Error 2528: 'Obj\gdiplus.AF8FF855...

I'm afraid no...

paintResponder is attached to a drawWindow, built by a class in the GUI package.
Instead of usin vpi::winCreate, you have to add in your project a new object form, setState with the flags you want, and to which you add the paintResponder.

Hi Tonton, I suppose your problem is the residual position of the moving window. If yes, you have to clear it. You can do it before redrawing. The clear instruction is a method of the windowGDI attached to a window. I thik the best way is to create a window to which you add a paint responder ( setpa...

Hi Tonton and Thomas, sorry for rough explanation. What is in question is the debug run. When I use the "Step over" (F10) command to go to the next line, whithout this antivirus, it's instantaneous. When it works, between one anf five seconds. the "Run to cursor" (Ctrl+F10) command runs quicker, alm...

tracing and antivirus

Hi, I'm using the last antivirus version of Kaspersky (2013). Since I installed that version, when tracing a program VIP works very slowly. Without antivirus, VIP works normaly. I tried to exclude from the analysis and the survey of the system by the antivirus vip.exe and the .exe application file o...

Hi, I understand Harrison's reasons, but it seems there is finally a problem. The next program : run() :- console::init(), Result1 = addTwoNo(4777.61, 2009.1), Result2 = addTwoNo(3510.61, 3512.1), Result3 = addTwoNo(5510.61, 3512.1), console::writef("R = %\n", Result2). class predicates addTwoNo : (...

Hi, I'm not a specialist in mathematics, and I do not undestand how is working this program, but fo symetry reason, it seems that if you express the fact that the product of an element by the neutral element is itself with this predicate : times(X,one,X). you sould in the same way express the fact t...

Forgive an error ! :oops:

Don't use drawControlSupport, but userControlSupport, wchich supports ContainerControl : you can add current controls directly into it.
This control supports too the setTransparent() predicate.

Hum ! :roll: It was just a suggestion ! I never did it. The problem is that a drawControlSupport , in the interface tree, cannot inherit the properties of a container window : then it's impossible to add into it current controls like into a standard form. But if I got to study this problem, I would ...

Hi Tonton,
I suppose you have to build it entirely from a drawControlSupport package:
As I know, it's the one and only package which supports the setTransparent() predicate.

Hi David What I guess I am really looking for is a user-friendly list of available predicates, with explanations of what they do When you have compiled your project, and are looking for informations about stdIO predicates, for example, you can use the built-in help with shotcuts. At the line of code...
