Hi Steve. You should remove sapi.lib and SReng.dll again. Instead you should add sapi.dll as a com package. I believe it used to be in c:\windows\system32 on both XP and Vista, but in windows 7 it is in c:\windows\system32\speech\common . The actual place does not matter it is only used on the devel...

Services, background applications, etc. should (normally) not influence on installation of Visual Prolog.

Did you download the installation file on our site?

Does it have correct size and our digital signature (see images)?

That error is caused by an unfortunate design from my side :oops:. The problem is that the class and interface iHTMLDocument2_import are in two different packages: the interface is in mshtml\ interface the class is in mshtml\ implement This is very bad for the automatic handling of include statement...

Hi, Gildas.

I think it would be a good idea if you created an article about this package in the wiki, in the "3rd" namespace.

It looks like you have to qualify the functor (i.e. radioButton::checked):

Code: Select all

RadioState = radioButton1_ctl:getRadioState(), if RadioState = radioButton::checked() then     stdio::write("YES") else     stdio::write("NO") end if.

Good suggestions; we have considered most of them already, and we surely will do something in this area. When we do we will take your suggestions into account.

Very interesting. But I have two suggestions. 1. I can see that you set border=false in the about dialog, but I don't ever think that a button should have a border. So I would set the border false inside the button itself: clauses new():- userControlSupport::new(), generatedInitialize(), localInitia...

I don't think that "version difference" will give this kind of problem. Normally, never versions of "something" implements the "old" components (maybe plus some new ones). Otherwise, upgrading "something" would break other applications. The other applications may of course change behavior anyway whe...

Long time ago (so it is not fresh in memory) I made a little test. I created a COM component in Visual Prolog, and then I registered it as a WEB service to run under the IIS. I followed a description (because it is not something that is understandable, you just do what they tell you too), and I sugg...

There are two ways to deal with images in HTML. Either the HTML can link to an image on the Internet. Or the Image can be attached to the mail and the link should then go to the attachment. The first method is often used when sending out news letters etc, because the news letter (and hence the image...

You should not send events to the window; you should ask the window to navigate instead, like in this predicate: predicates onButtonGo : button::clickResponder. clauses onButtonGo(_Source) = button::defaultAction :- URL=editURL:getText(), browser:navigate(URL, comDomains::unsigned(0x0), comDomains::...

This is relatively difficult. The webBrowser is actually a shell that host other controls, when it is displaying HTML code it hosts the MSHTML component, and it is through this you can obtain the displayed text. But I will warn you, the importer cannot deal with all MSHTML and if you try you will ge...
