Presenting pdf files in some applications could be “handy”. Creating a com package from Adobe’s Reader version 7 is simple. Choose from … \Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\ActiveX the AcroPDF.dll as the Type library and most of the work is done.
The example project has
a dialog which has a pdf custom control
a form where the whole form area is used for the activeX control.
Both the dialog and the form can be resized.
(I corrected the runCom mistake Steve mentioned).

I found a copy developed by Kari Rastas for VIP 6.3 (or VIP7.0) "linked" with an old Acrobat. I have managed to get it working with VIP7.3 without rebuilding the COM - just doing some manual editing to get it to compile. It works with Acrobat Reader 8.
PS I checked with Kari to make sure it is OK with him to upload.
