I came across a recently published book entitled "Modern logic programming in Visual Prolog 7.5 (rough English translation, I think), published in Russian in 2015 or 2016. The author is V. H Markov, I believe. Does anyone know if there are plans for this text to be translated into English, as it looks really well done?

Ian

Hello Ian
I am the author of this textbook. The book is intended for beginners, students and teachers and has support at Russian prolog-forum http://www.hardforum.ru/f141/.
1) Version VIP 8.0 release can be during translation of the textbook into English. Therefore the book will become outdated.
2) I have no experience to publish books abroad. It is necessary to do a high-quality translation into English.

Thank you kindly for this information Vitaly. I quite understand undertaking a translation is a big job. If you do decide to do this, even for Version 8 when it is released, let me know if there is anything I can do to help you.

Best regards,
Ian

Hi, Vitaly, shouldn't we reference your book in Books in Other Languages?
