My form formA has got a menu and a poush button. The push button does what I want but not the menu action.

Why do you use Source you know where you are.

Actually drawWinCross doesn't need This because it is already/also in This.

However, you should notice that you should only draw in onPaint and that you should use the GDI variable to do the drawing.
