Thank you for your post. I am able to run the exe file, but unable to recompile or study in debugger because of the version inconsistencies. I have v7.3 and v7.4. I have also followed all of the upgrade guidelines that I can find, and without success. Have you compiled in version greater than 7.2? T...

Thanks so much for reply... I had to change the "exit code", so code looks like stop_exe():- if not(isErroneous(mem_obj_exe)) then mem_obj_exe:terminate(0) end if. Then it compiles without error in 7.4. But....on running, it thows exception, with error message: ======================================...

Closeing a "useEXE" object

Guys

Can I close the explorer window that is opened by this code:

Code: Select all

 Exe=useExe::new("Explorer.exe"),     Exe:setShowWindow(false()),     Exe: setInitialPosition ( 0, 0, 0, 0),     Exe:run(),
Thanks in advance

Error trapping and "clean" exit

Guys I would like to "cleanly" exit a program without any error related dialog box. I use 7.4 PE In the past I would use: .... trapExit(Taskwin):- trap(win_destroy(Taskwin),_,fail), !. trapExit(_Taskwin). and this would immediately exit without notification. Now, that could generates a dialog box th...

WebControl - can one manipulate the elements ?

I am so interested in the WebControl included in 7.4 I am wondering if the elements can be pragmatically addressed from VIP. For example, say one renders a page into the control, containing ONLY one edit field. Can we st the text in this filed as well? Change the text in that field? Thanks in advanc...
