i have found now that the question has actually been asked before,

i thought that maybe a work around was that if u would use 1 btree for keys from
a-m

and then a second btree for keys from n-z in a second chaindb file,

is that a good solution, or is it then smarter to us the QDBM

you should use the prolog http example, it can save the contents of a webpage to your own disk,
in vip52 there is an example,

and there was an example program for vip7 too

I mean ...

Dear Prolog,

Is it known whether the isapi-dll behaviour is changed in the latest release of Visual-Prolog 7.2 ?

I couldnt find it in the Vip 7.2 bug-fix list .

Thankyou

I think it might be a good idea ( at least for me ) to test the other way around, because that would indicate where the error is. I will build my vip 7 isapi dll again very soon and i will probably have the same problem, then i will post this Dll here , and then maybe Luc can you test it in your web...

Hello Luc thankyou for the tip, I cant imagine that is the problem, do u use the isapi urself in a full application ? or only the test example ? strange enough it does indeed sometimes happen that the vip 7 isapi example seems to behave correctly, but this is also due to the fact that it is in that ...

when explaining things to 'newcomers' it is not always right to descend to the newcomers level or speak the language of the newcomer. The newcomer will understand the answer after enough research, and will learn more from that sometimes than from a tyro answer, as long as the information provided is...
