Hi,
You will probably get help if you provide your own solution + code first, to discuss a specific problem in your prolog coding.

Hi, 1) I saw this yesterday http://lifeworks.org.uk/contact (look at the bottom - equivalent to a captcha) Not a bad idea, but not sure how easily cracked it is. 2) An alternative which I used is to show a swf file, rather than a jpg, and make it move. I developed it using SWISHMAX. But of course it...

Hi,
Sorry, I don't know what you mean or want. As you said at the beginning, the whole clause is sequential. Which part of the clause to you want to "jump" from and to?

Hi, I think you will not gain much of a speed increase from restructuring (=breakin the clause down). It may enhance readability, and ease maintainability. What I had assumed that you had was one if-block i.e. if then elseif elseif elseif........endif with 90 elseifs. You say "90 cases"...? I only s...

Hi,
I have given an example above. Maybe you should provide some of your if-then-elses, so that a more relevant example can be given (if it's possible)

Hi, Or "another" way (sort of - I hope this is correct!) split your clause with 90 if/then/elses into 90 clauses (of the same predicate), with as much of the rule placed in the clause arguments. The compiler will make a pointer to each clause, so if there is enough info in the clause arguments, proc...

Hi, The IDE creates the following code (eg) for radio buttons predicates onRadioButtonStateChanged : radioButton::stateChangedListener. clauses onRadioButtonStateChanged(_Source, _OldState, _NewState). So you would modify this code (again for eg): clauses onRadioButtonStateChanged(_Source, _OldState...

Hi,
Yes, you're right. Right clicking shows a popup menu for forms+dialogs with "code expert" greyed out.

I'd not really noticed. I'd managed to work without it without problems.

Hi, You are almost there. If you have menu items "fred" and "joe" in the associated menu: predicates onMenuItem : window::menuItemListener. clauses onMenuItem(_Source, resourceIdentifiers::id_fred):-!,do_fred(). onMenuItem(_Source, resourceIdentifiers::id_joe):-!,do_joe(). onMenuItem(_Source, _).%ca...

Hi, No. There are many bar code standards. Maybe you can start here: http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/10734/Reading-Barcodes-from-an-Image-II The following may be an interesting read: http://www.gs1ca.org/files/AIDC_-_Selecting_Bar_Code_Scanning_Equipment_Eng.pdf Pleas let us know how you get on!...
